1956 -- When as a young medical student I saw a young woman wiht ARF in pregnancy, dialyzed and delivering a baby during dialysis. Both mother and child left alive and were alive some 20 years later. 1963 -- Meeting Rolin Eady in Seattle, a fellow doctor, but on dialysis. He is still alive -- 41 years later. |
