Bibliographic records of books, serials, and auction catalogs, as well as descriptive records of archival and photograph collections, housed in the Research Library's general, photo study, and special collections.
The Research Library's Photo Study Collection contains over two million photographs that document works of art and architecture. Approximately half of the photographic holdings are represented in the Photo Study Collection Database.
Our foundation lies in the special collections of original documents and objects from the Renaissance to the present, paralleled by a superb general art library, both of them growing according to the changing needs of researchers.
