Excerpt:

This site has biographies of women who contributed to our culture in many different ways. There are writers, educators, scientists, heads of state, politicians, civil rights crusaders, artists, entertainers, and others. Some were alive hundreds of years ago and some are living today. We've heard of some of them, while many more have been ignored by history book writers. I'd like to acknowledge as many as I can.

Annotation:

This text only, one-page site is simply a list of over 50 women (many born in before the twentieth century) in the history of engineering and Web sites that contain biographical information about them and their work. Several entries contain more than one link. At the bottom of the page is a link to an educational site on the history of women in engineering that is far more extensive than this site. There are no images or biographical material on this site, just links.
