The National Maritime Museum site offers several area of potential interest for research, particularly for naval historians. A copy of The Fleet Type Submarine, a post-WW II training manual, has been reproduced. Papers from the Third International Conference on the Technical Aspects of the Preservation of Historic Vessels are made available. The site also lists submarines lost during World War Two and their casualties.
