beyond the echo pond

Since its inception, ECHO has aimed to encourage using internet technologies creatively for the histories of science, technology, and industry, by providing not only access to historical knowledge but also the tools to help build it. The searchable database of online resources that ECHO provides is only a starting point. For scholars that are interested in creating what we've called "digital histories," please refer to:

ECHO Blogging Central. For a look at the most current posts regarding digital history or the history of science and technology topics, take a look at our Blog Collection Center.

Digital History Center. A source for conceptual help, this site links to resources that can help you think through online presentation and other issues regarding the field of digital history.

Tools. For practical help, this wiki offers a directory of software and tools that can help you build digital history sites.
