This is a simple and plain search page hosted by a number of Italian universities and institutes. The aim of the project is to furnish science historians and other scholars with an instrument to research the correspondence of Italian scientists during the period between the Italian Risorgimento (mid 19th century) and the present. The service permits the user to research the letters and correspondence of Edoardo Amaldi, Stanislao Cannizzaro, Emanuele Paterna's Enrico Persico, Bruno Touschek and Vito Volterra. The data bank now contains about 54,000 items. Search terms must be in Italian though the explanation for the site is in English.
