| Atomic Veterans History Project | This site has been established by the National Association of Atomic Veterans to provide an online archive of personal accounts of American veterans who served in divisions that were exposed to the effects of atomic weaponry. There are over 400 personal accounts from those who were there at Hiroshima, Nagasaki and military tests of atomic bombs from 1946 to 1962. There are also over 500 photographs from these servicemen and from declassified military archives. |

Additional resources include information about how to prepare for a medical career, lesson plans for K-12 classrooms, activities for teaching anatomy and physiology and tied to the research of featured doctors. |

| Department of Energy Test Video Clip Database | This fascinating site includes clips from more than 70 recently declassified nuclear weapons test films from the Department of Energy and Department of Defense archives. The films, originally recorded for public information, training, and data analysis purposes, document the history and development of nuclear weapons from the first bomb tested at Trinity Site in Southeast New Mexico in 1945 through the early 1970s. The site offers a series of short sample clips for each film and copies of the full-length films can be ordered through the site. |
