Additionally, the site includes pages explaining the construction of the codex and the development of the site. |

The Society's database of 22 collections includes links to digital archives of Ichthyology, Invertebrate Paleontology, Malacology, Ornithology, Rotifers, VIREO, Mollusk, and Orthopteroid Insects. Other collections have not been digitized, however, researchers will find information about how to physically access these materials. |

The site also contains an alphabetical index of the materials in the manuscript collection, which could be an important planning tool for researchers interested in taking a trip to the Library to do research with the papers first-hand. However, the actual manuscripts have not been made available online, so there is no historical information beyond the descriptions and index. |
