William van den Heuvel
Excerpt:

I would say that in my scientific and philosophical work, my main concern has been with understanding the nature of reality in general and of consciousness in particular as a coherent whole, which is never static or complete but which is an unending process of movement and unfoldment..

Welcome to the World Wide Web (WWW) Virtual Library museums pages (VLmp) a comprehensive directory of on-line museums and museum-related resources
You may relocate to a more local VLmp site if response is slow.
Please contact Jonathan Bowen if you would like to maintain information on a particular topic, or support / sponsor the pages in some way. For additions to a particular page, please contact the maintainer concerned. Currently the main page receives thousands of "visitors" each week.

Annotation:

This site is a global clearinghouse of museums that have gone online. This site is organized alphabetically by nation or region and then alphabetically by museum name. There is a submission form available for museums that have gone online and wish to be included in the directory. The site is supposed to be searchable; however, successful searches seem to require the use of a limited set of keywords. A few of the links also seem to be dead or broken.

Welcome to our subject guide on STS. This guide is intended for use by students, staff and faculty at the University of Alberta with an interest in STS, an emerging field of academic study, interdisciplinary in nature, that examines science and technology as social and cultural phenomena. The following table of contents is partly based on that of the ISIS Current Bibliography of the History of Science and Its Cultural Influences, 1991, a print source available in most academic libraries. (Please note that this is not a comprehensive subject guide.)
