Edition Production & Presentation Technology (EPPT)

The ARCHway project, which ended in May 2005, instituted a new Eclipse-based EPT platform in 2003 for the EPT editing tools developed in 2002 under the Electronic Boethius project. For this ongoing project and other image-based electronic editions that use the software, the name EPPT places new emphasis on edition presentation, as well as production, technology. There is an open source version of EPT available at http://beowulf.engl.uky.edu/~ept/archway/source/ARCHway-EPT-src.zip (16MB), and a Trial version that goes well beyond it at http://beowulf.engl.uky.edu/~eft/eppt-trial/EPPT-TrialProjects.htm.
