From ToolCenter
The Public Knowledge Project, directed by John Willinsky, is a federally funded research initiative located at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada. It seeks to improve the scholarly and public quality of academic research through innovative online environments. PKP has developed the open source software Open Journal Systems and Open Conference Systems to assist in the management and publishing of scholarly resources. See http://pkp.ubc.ca to access PKP papers, view demos, and download the free software.
